Tisca Chopra shares her experience with the casting couch - SamplePost

For those who are not familiar with the term ‘casting couch’, it refers to the widespread practice in the entertainment industry where an actor is casted in a film in return of sexual favours.

While many actors choose to remain tight-lipped about this ugly truth, Tisca decided to share her experience in a story-telling session with Kommune India. While the topic is no laughing matter, her style of narration is bound to leave you in splits. To begin with, she refers to the casting-couch director as ‘RP’ which stands for Reptile. Hence the title of the video — Reptile Dysfunction.

The story dates back to the time when she was a nobody in the industry. ‘Reptile’ had come up to her with an extravagant movie offer when her dates-diary looked like a barren desert, she says.
